The objectives of the ‘Sim-Swim’ method can vary notably, from simply psycho-physical well-being which comes from doing sports, to toning the core muscles (abs, pecs, lats, shoulders, arms), to permanent weight loss, to true competitive sport preparations (I personally was able to prepare as a finisher for both the half-Ironman and the Ironman.)
All of this by creating specific charts and a personalized mode of training that makes it possible, with just enough effort and the right amount of training, to obtain the desired results in a sensible amount of time (considering that a swimming course requires at least two sessions per week for many years.)
